I'm really torn on this....

I wasn't too sure Feingold's efforts should have been made, but now that he's made the Resolution on the floor of the Senate, we HAVE to support him as a party?

Here's the question:

Should our Party pass a resolution supporting Russ Feingold's resolution to censure President Bush?

What do you think?

I am in favor of such a resolution. I also signed a petition backing the censure on Feingold's Progressive Patriot site as well as the MoveOn.Org site. If our representatives won't hold our President's feet to the fire for breaking the law, then I guess it's up to us grassroots folks to do it.

Do you want to write it up?

btw: I signed the same two petitions...also sent a FAX to
Senator Reid which said:

To: Office of the Senate Minority Leader
The Honorable Henry Reid of Nevada
From:
Dues Paying, Democrat
Date: March 14, 2006

Subject: Feingold Resolution

Sir,

WAKE UP!

George W. Bush is probably the most disliked President we will see in our lifetime. Current polls have his popularity at an anemic 34%. That’s thirty-four per cent!

The only thing protecting this President from the disgrace of being hounded out of office is a handful of Republican Senators.

You, sir represent the MAJORITY OF AMERICANS, not to mention the vast majority of the Democratic Party. We’re behind you Sir stand up and fight back!

enjoyed doing that!!!

I'll give it a whirl later today if you (Ed) will read it and edit it for me. Expect an email later.
