....where did I put those dancin' shoes?

Sources within the White House have confirmed that KKKarl Rove has told them that he WILL BE INDICTED for his role in outing CIA Operative and wife of Ambassador Joe Wilson, Valerie Plame. The whole story is from Truthout here:

a couple of snippets:

Within the last week, Karl Rove told President Bush and Chief of Staff Joshua Bolten, as well as a few other high level administration officials, that he will be indicted in the CIA leak case and will immediately resign his White House job when the special counsel publicly announces the charges against him, according to sources.

Details of Rove's discussions with the president and Bolten have spread through the corridors of the White House where low-level staffers and senior officials were trying to determine how the indictment would impact an administration that has been mired in a number of high-profile political scandals for nearly a year, said a half-dozen White House aides and two senior officials who work at the Republican National Committee.

The news apparently hit the "blogosphere" somewhere around five pm central time tonight and in some blogs (pardon the Monty Python line) "and there was much rejoicing." In other blogs there was some degree of skepticism and the reserve that comes from having hopes dashed too many times before. In my case, I've proclaimed "Fitzmas" one too many times to get excited but this time, just in case, I think I'd better start looking for "those dancin' shoes"....oh yeah, one more thing....I don't dance....I'm er...ah....rythm challenged.....

A few other things:

Be sure to ask Dave Wille about Suicide Republican Deer.

Remember the meeting is next week.

American Legion Hall, Pittsville, WI

Executive Board Meeting 5:30

Regular Meeting 6:30

Tim Swiggum, who is running against Scott Suder and spoke at our April Meeting, came out swinging last week. He's not going to back down on Suder one bit.....this is going to be good. Here's the link And a snippet for your enjoyment:

Swiggum: Rep. Suder knew of illegalities

Democratic 69th Assembly candidate Tim Swiggum said Friday that incumbent assemblyman Rep. Scott Suder must have known about illegal campaign activity in the Assembly Republican Caucus but never blew the whistle on his former boss, Rep. Scott Jensen, now convicted of three felonies for misconduct in office.

Sen Dave Zein (R-Puke) is already running ads on the Marshfield Radio Station. In the ad he claims to have sponsored legislation to help Seniors, Women and Children......the only thing he seems to have left out is widows and orphans.....I suspect that's next. According to my blog buddy, Sybylla, Zein must be pee-in-his-pants-scared of Pat Kreitlow . I've heard Pat speak twice now......Zein better be scared.

LoLo could use some help.....

She's working with FAIR and they need some help in canvassing in Wood County on the 20th. I'm sure she'll say something about it at the meeting on Thursday night.

Thanks for putting in a "help wanted" plea for Lolo. Lolo has been putting in long hours this weekend, trying to get her mailing out to identify new voters in Ward 4. Lolo has also tied up the phone in endless conversations trying to entice new ward leaders. Today, she even snagged one! Check out Lolo's new post. Party at my house!!!!!!
