The Primaries are over...

Congratulations to the successful Democratic Candidates.

Now it's time to unite to defeat the Republicans.

A few interesting statistics from yesterday's races:

The highest number of votes cast in the Democratic primaries were in the race for Wood County Sheriff where there were 5581 total votes cast.
In the 2000 primary, Unopposed Huer (Repub) got 1751 votes and Unopposed Yankovich got 2547 votes.

The highest number of votes cast in any Republican Primary race was in the Bucher/VanHollen race with a total of 1925 votes.

Unopposed Doyle got 4674 votes while Unopposed Green got 1913 votes.

I guess Democrats are more inclined to vote than Repubs, huh?

Oh yes, I found the GOP 2006 Campaign logo on the web...here it is!
