Our Nieghbors over in CLARK COUNTY, (the Clark County Democratic Party) are getting ready for their
38th Annual Clark County Democratic Dinner.
It will be on OCTOBER 7 2006, at the AMERICAN LEGION HALL in Thorp, Wisconsin (it used to be held in Greenwood) and, as usual, it's going to be a (Democratic) Star-Studded event. It will start off at 4:30 with and "Early Bird" Reception for Senator Herb Kohl. Dinner will be at 6:30PM and the featured speaker will be our very own DAVE OBEY.
Honored guests will also include Congressman Ron Kind, State Senate Candidate Pat Krietlow, and Assembly Candidate Tim Swiggum.
Mel tells me that the entrees will include Kielbasa and Kraut for those who are tired of the traditional "rubber chicken" dinners BUT.........rubber chicken will be available for those who cannot kick the habit.
Tickets are $15.00 per person but you can get two tickets for $25.00.

This dinner is gathering quite a reputation throughout the state. The Clark County Dems make a lot of money off of this dinner and it's also a premier event for Democrats/liberals/Progressives who want to gather and hear what the party leaders have to say.
