Back to the basics

Today is September 21......primaries are over and the push for the November elections is looming.....

There are polls that tell us that (Nationally at least) Democrats are in good shape and the Republicans are being held in contempt by the voters......

DON'T BELIEVE ANY OF IT!

If we allow ourselves to believe that the electorate has "finally seen the light" and will automatically vote Democratic, we're deluding ourselves. We need to work as hard or harder than we did in the 2004 campaigns because control of Congress depends on this election. This election is just as important as the Presidential election in '04. It doesn't have the "glitz" of a Presidential election but it is nonetheless important.

It is our PATRIOTIC DUTY to get out and get people to vote ...it is our DUTY to TAKE BACK AMERICA!

Also a reminder....the Democratic Party of Wood County monthly meeting is tonight in Pittsville at 6:30. We have the agenda item called "Save the World in 120 Seconds". It's a time when ANYONE in the audience can stand up and speak ON ANY SUBJECT for two minutes. If you have an idea, plan or issue, or, if you just want to VENT this is a great opportunity to do so.............
