Valerie was a calm, coherent, credible witness before the Waxman hearing on CSpan. In fact, she was a mirror image of Victoria Toensing, an apparent Bush backer (and a really bad lawyer according to a few blog posts on DailyKos.) She kept reiterating in a shrill, wild-eyed manner that Plame was not a covert operative and that the CIA was at fault for not protecting their agent (instead of blaming those who leaked the name of the covert agent, of course.) I was much amused and gratified to see Waxman nail her on point after point.
And she's also a babe!
